Hallo Wenlock, which had completed over 80 episodes sometime back, resumed after a break on June 3, 2022 at Radio Sarang. It is a live phone in programme in association with District Wenlock Hospital. Each week, a doctor from the hospital comes for live programme and interacts with the listeners on various health issues. It had begun in June 2018 and went on till March 2020.

The guest for this week was Dr Naveen Kumar, dermatologist from Government Wenlock Hospital. He gave varied information about the facilities available in Wenlock. Initially Dr Naveen remembered the support given by Dr Rajeshwari Devi the then DMO. He also appreciated the new initiative by Dr Sadashiv Shanbog, the present DMO of Wenlock hospital in starting this programme.

He also explained the struggles they took during COVID 19. He gave information about the benefits of Ayushman Bharath card. He said that Wenlock gives good service to people and maintains hygiene. The patients from Udupi, Hassan, Chickmangalore, Kodagu, Chitradurga and also from Kerala come for treatment as outpatients and inpatients.

Since Wenlock is run under PPP model, the doctors from KMC render their best service there, he said. Many callers appreciated the programme. A few asked their doubts with Dr Naveen on various health issues.
