Actor, director and Konakni enthusiast Pradeep Barboza was the guest for the Tallo Umallo live programme at Radio Sarang on July 12. Pradeep Barboza is an acclaimed Konkani artist who has acted in many plays and films. He has acted and directed the film 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na'. Presently he has been working on his new project, a Tulu film 'Soda Sharbhath', the shooting for which has been completed. The film will be released shortly, Mr Barboza said.

Born in 1982 at Paladka, Pradeep has grown to be a comedy actor. He has been awarded the title 'Konkani Comedy Prince'. In his interaction here at Tallo Umallo, Pradeep reflected on his journey into Konkani theatre as well as celluloid. 

Being a comedian is a great responsibility, Pradeep said. "When we perform jokes on stage, we must realise that families with children watch us. Hence, we need to be sensitive and not be vulgar," he added.
