Yesudas inspired me in my childhood: Jason Lobo

“When I was a child of around four-five years, I was listening to songs of Yesudas. My parents came across this interest of mine and supported me to become a singer,” said singer and musician Jason Lobo. He was speaking during Thaalo Umaalo live programme at Radio Sarang on June 19.

Mr Jason Lobo is currently pursuing his BA Education at Roshni Nilaya College. He is the son of Mr Joel and Juliet Lobo from Bondel Parish. Jason is a trained in Hindustani and Carnatic music. He is the student of Ustad Rafique Khan. 

Jason was the finalist of Muzo Thalo Gaithalo Konkani reality show and first runner up in Soad 5 Margoa. He has composed many songs in his mother tongue.  

Jason has also participated in over 30 musical concerts in India and abroad. He is a nature lover. He has varieties of plants and bio atmosphere at his house.

‘Think and speak only positive of others’ is his motto in life. He said that he never criticises anyone.

Many callers from India and UK interacted with Jason during the live programme. He fulfilled listeners’ request by singing multiple language songs.
